Alarm system quick reference
  • To Arm the entire system - both interior & perimeter
  1. Close all windows & doors (the green Ready light will turn on)
  2. Press and hold the (Away) for 2 seconds (the keypad will beep rapidly 5 times and the red Armed light will turn ON)
  3. The system arms when the exit delay expires
  • To disarm the system
  1. When you enter through the door, the keypad will emit a steady warning tone 
  2. Enter your 4-digit code (the armed light will turn OFF)
  3. If you make an error, press (#) and enter the 4-digit code again
  • To arm perimeter and still move freely inside
  1. Press and hold (Stay) for 2 seconds
  • To silence alarm
  1. Enter your 4-digit code
  • When trouble light comes on
  1. Press (*) (2)
  2. Some keypads will describe the Trouble; others will only identify the Trouble number
  3. If Trouble number 1 is lit, the probable cause is the battery is getting low and needs to be replaced
  4. If Trouble number 3 or 4 is lit, there is a problem with your phone line
  5. If Trouble number 7 is lit, there is a low battery in one of your sensors
  6. If Trouble number 8 is lit, the time and date needs to be reset (see below)
  • To set time and date
  1. Press (*) (6) and enter the 4-digit Master Code
  2. 1 long beep indicates an error, press (#) and enter the Master Code again
  3. After 4 short beeps, press (1) then 10 digits, 2 each for the hour, minute, month, day, and year (HH:MM MM/DD/YY)
  4. Use a 24-hour clock (e.g. 8:30pm = 20:30)
  5. Press (#) to exit programming
  • To enable / disable door chime feature
  1. Press and hold (Chime) for 2 seconds
  • To sound an alarm manually
  1. Press and hold (Fire), (Emergency), or (Panic) buttons on your system for 2 seconds
